Emerging worship collective The Slower I Go has released its new single, "Love Made a Way," featuring Brooklyn Summer. Available September 18 through NRT Music, the modern worship song points listeners toward freedom, courage and confidence in what Jesus accomplished through the cross.
"Love Made a Way" centers on the message that God's perfect love brings freedom from fear. The song moves from themes of shame and fear toward the assurance of belonging to God, new life in Christ and confidence in His presence.
Its message is captured in the song's central declaration that love has made a way for believers to live without fear. Rather than allowing circumstances to dictate their confidence, the song encourages listeners to rest in the finished work of the cross and the freedom found in Jesus.
The new single reflects the heart behind The Slower I Go, a worship collective formed through friendship and a shared passion for Scripture, songwriting and worship. The group grew from simple gatherings of friends playing guitars and turning biblical truths into songs before developing into a broader musical ministry.
The collective features Noah Priebe, Brooklyn Summer, Dacey Lane and Logan York, bringing together vocalists and multi-instrumentalists with diverse musical influences and a shared commitment to creating Christ-centered worship.
The Slower I Go launched with its debut single "All Or Nothing" and has since surpassed 100,000 streams across digital platforms. The group has also received early editorial recognition, including a Spotify editorial playlist placement for its collaboration with Zane Walls, "SHOCK!"
Despite that growing audience, the collective remains focused on its purpose of following the Lord with loyalty and obedience and keeping Him at the center of its music and ministry.
Written by The Slower I Go, Noah Priebe, Ben Sluys and Janae Sluys, and produced by Logan Murphy, "Love Made a Way" offers a reminder that believers do not have to live under the weight of fear and shame. Through Christ, there is freedom, belonging and courage to move forward in faith.
"Love Made a Way" is available now on major digital and streaming platforms.
