America's Got Talent Season 21 crowns its winner tonight, and after Tuesday's live finale performances, one name is emerging as the clear favorite.
All 10 finalists took the stage Tuesday night, September 22, performing for judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Sofía Vergara, and guest judge KSI, who filled in for Simon Cowell as he continues recovering from back surgery. Voting closes at 7 a.m. ET today, with the winner revealed live tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
Sixteen-year-old singer-guitarist Nene Royal has drawn the strongest reaction from both judges and fans since her finale performance. The Phuket, Thailand-born breakout act went from busking in local markets to a Live Golden Buzzer earlier this season, and judges and viewers online have pointed to her final performance as the moment that sealed her status as the act to beat.
She's not without competition. Light-up dance group Royal Lasers, who earned Terry Crews' Golden Buzzer during auditions, delivered what many called their strongest routine of the season. Magic act Hundred Fingers, robot dance troupe Unitree, and singer Lai Noelle round out a finalist field judges have repeatedly called one of the strongest in the show's 21 seasons.
Whoever wins takes home the $1 million grand prize and a headlining spot in an AGT Superstars Live show.
