Keegan Allen says a grocery-store visit in West Hollywood ended with two masked men threatening his life and striking him with a handgun. The Pretty Little Liars actor shared a disturbing Instagram video showing blood running down his face and neck after the Thursday, October 8, encounter outside Laurel Supply.

The 37-year-old said the attackers confronted him with a gun and a knife before escaping with his watch. Surveillance footage included in his post appeared to show the confrontation beside his vehicle, including blows to his head. His account quickly turned the attack into a public conversation about safety and the violence inflicted during a theft.

"My life for a watch," Allen wrote, capturing the frightening stakes of the encounter. He also attributed his survival to divine protection, writing: "God said no tonight." Those words gave his response a personal dimension beyond the stolen property: relief that he had survived an attack he believed could have killed him.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed it was investigating a robbery matching the location and circumstances Allen described, although its statement did not identify the victim by name. Authorities said two men demanded a watch and bracelet, struck the victim with a handgun, and fled in a vehicle with the watch.

Allen later told followers he believed he was concussed and was at a hospital. That was his own description of his condition; a detailed medical assessment has not been publicly established in the reports reviewed.

The investigation continued Friday, when Page Six published footage of deputies leaving Allen's home. A deputy told the outlet that the inquiry remained ongoing. For fans familiar with Allen as Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars, the images offered a jarring glimpse of the actor facing real danger far removed from a scripted television scene.

The unanswered questions now concern the attackers' identities and what evidence will lead investigators to them. Allen's video has made the ordeal visible; the next consequential development will be progress in the case.
