Tributes continue to pour in for Eric Bauza, the Emmy-winning voice actor behind the modern Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, who died Sunday at 46.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner lists the cause as hypertensive cardiovascular disease, and his family said he passed away suddenly.

Fellow voice actor Jim Cummings, best known as the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, called Bauza "such a kind young man" and said he was at a loss for words. Bauza's manager, Judy Coppage, said his sudden passing is a shock to all who knew him. Warner Bros. noted that he spent 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation and followed in the footsteps of Looney Tunes legend Mel Blanc. The Television Academy also joined the family and fans in mourning.

Bauza's final big-screen work was this year's "Coyote vs. Acme," where he voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, and Foghorn Leghorn. CBS reported that his favorite character to voice was Bugs Bunny, but as he got older, he felt more like Daffy Duck.

What is hypertensive cardiovascular disease? According to MedlinePlus, hypertensive heart disease refers to heart problems caused by high blood pressure that lasts a long time. Because high blood pressure often has no symptoms, people can have it without knowing. Health experts say catching it early and keeping regular blood pressure checks can help prevent heart disease.

For millions of families, Bauza's voice was part of growing up with Saturday-morning cartoons. JubileeCast continues to keep his wife, their young son, and everyone grieving him in prayer.
