2 Lane Summer Reimagines Diane Warren’s “How Do I Live” in New Emotional Cover

Country-pop duo 2 Lane Summer, featuring Joe Hanson and Chris Ray, has released a heartfelt new rendition of Diane Warren's classic song "How Do I Live." Available now on digital streaming platforms, the cover gives the well-loved ballad a fresh interpretation through the duo's soulful harmonies and emotional delivery.

Originally made famous by LeAnn Rimes and also recorded by Trisha Yearwood, "How Do I Live" explores the pain of losing someone deeply loved and the uncertainty of facing life without that person's presence. In their new version, 2 Lane Summer brings renewed depth to the timeless song, highlighting the importance of the relationships that shape our lives.

Produced by Ash Bowers, the recording pairs the duo's smooth, expressive vocals with piano and keyboard arrangements that complement the song's reflective atmosphere. Their country-pop approach offers a distinctive take on a classic while preserving its emotional heart.

Listeners can stream "How Do I Live" and watch the official visualizer now.

The release adds to an exciting season for 2 Lane Summer, whose musical partnership grew out of songwriting sessions in Nashville. Hanson, originally from Illinois, and Ray, who moved north from Mississippi, discovered a shared musical background rooted in church singing, country, and soulful pop. Their vocal chemistry soon became the foundation of the duo.

Before signing with Quartz Hill Records, the pair had already developed a growing following through social media. Their debut album, Flawless, features uplifting songs celebrating the healing power of romantic, brotherly, and Godly love. The project is available now.

With "How Do I Live," 2 Lane Summer brings a familiar song to a new generation of listeners while showcasing the vocal blend and emotional storytelling that define their sound.
