"The Kelly Clarkson Show" went off the air Aug. 31, but it is not finished competing for Emmys. Episodes that aired in 2026 can still qualify for the 2027 Daytime Emmys, because the awards follow calendar-year eligibility.
The 2026 ceremony honored episodes from 2025. The show won five awards on Oct. 30 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, including Outstanding Daytime Talk Series. Clarkson was not at the ceremony, and Sherri Shepherd took the host award.
On Saturday, Oct. 31, Clarkson posted a photo of her former team celebrating with an Emmy and thanked them. "It was an incredible 7 years," she wrote on Instagram.
Clarkson announced in February that season seven would be the last, saying she wanted to put her children first. She is still on television as a coach on "The Voice," where she will appear through the season 30 finale on Dec. 14 on NBC.
For many viewers, the show was also a daytime home for faith-filled moments, from worship songs to hymns, as covered in our earlier report.
It is a reminder that seasons end, but the good work done in them can still be recognized.
