Transformers 5 News, Plot, Characters, Cast and Release Date: Bay and Wahlberg out of the Picture, Plus a Possibility of a Megan Fox return - this time as the Protagonist?
Even if Transformers: Age of Extinction wasn't exactly a blockbuster hit, many are still clamoring for Transformer 5 news, or better yet, the Transformers 5 movie itself. Though the upcoming movie may still be a few years from now, there is no denying that Transformer 5 news are popping out everywhere like mushrooms.
First of, everyone now knows that Michael Bay won't be returning to direct the Transformers 5 movie because he wants to pursue other projects. Adding to that, it would seem that Transformers Age of Extinction would probably be the last Transformers movie we will be seeing Mark Wahlberg in, as the actor had expressed that he won't reprising his role, stating that he wasn't the type to do direct sequels.
Unfortunately, we don't have any solid news yet on who will be filling in Bay's big shoes.
Given that Mark Wahlberg is not coming back, it has left fans quite unsure on what will be the Transformers 5 plot - will it carry on the storyline from Age of Extinction. However, it has been rumored that the Transformers 5 movie will focuson defending Earth from Optimus Prime's evil twin, Unicron, while Prime himself will embark on a journey to find the Creators.
Also, there have been rumors that Megan Fox will be returning as a Transformers 5 cast.
It has been projected that the Transformers 5 release date will be somewhere in 2016.
