We have the latest for you on the release date, spoilers and cast of American Horror Story season 4. This comes as good news to the followers and lovers of the 'American Horror Story.' The fourth season of the series has been long awaited by the fans and it is scheduled for release in October, we shall see the return of characters from previous seasons and new characters will also be featured.
"The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience," the 'Freak Show' teased. The role of Elsa, a German ex-pat who came to America after the war and will serve as the freak show's characters' leader and guardian will be taken by Jessica Lange. The role of Ethel, who will be Elsa's right hand woman, will be taken by Kathy Bates. Evan Peters is Jimmy, Ethel's son.
Angela Bassett will take the role of a three-breasted woman, while there will be a new comer in the series, Michael Chiklis who will be playing the role of her strongman husband. Emma Roberts will take the role of a fortune-teller, while Frances Conroy will be playing a society woman who will disapprove the freak show. Twisty the Clown will be the villain and this role will be taken by John Carroll Lynch and Sarah Paulson will be playing the conjoined twins, Dot and Bette. There will be stars who will make appearances in the show for example Patti La Belle who will play Conroy's friend , Matt Bomer and Lea Michelle whose roles have not yet been revealed.
Ryan Murphy was engaged in an interview with Entertainment Weekly and he said, "The performers have put up with centuries of abuse which is all true and are getting to the point where they're not going to take it anymore." he also mentioned about the effort that went into the season 4 of the series. He said, "We had to build an entire city. We built an entire huge compound and then we had to build the interiors of all the buildings on set. It's all period." the fourth season of the series 'The American Horror Story' is expected to premiere on FX on 8th October at 10 p.m.
