Once Upon a Time Season 4 Spoilers: More Magical Moments this Season 4, Elsa from Frozen Meets Emma, More Flashbacks this Season 4
Once Upon a Time is renewed for a season 4, and the release date is set on Sunday. Its premiere episode is entitled "A Tale of Two Sisters", directed by Ralph Hemecker, and written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
At the end of Once Upon a Time season 3, Elsa from the Frozen came to Storybrooke. We saw her freezing the ground as she took off her hand gloves. We also saw her forming ice with her every step, as she walked away.
A teaser video of the first episode was recently released. It shows the first 7 minutes of Once Upon a Time Season 4. In the video, sisters Elsa and Anna show up, including a shipwreck that killed their parents.
In this season, we will also see Emma Swan share some magical moments with Elsa. Writer Edward Kitsis said, "What [Emma] and Elsa have in common is they're both two strong females with powers they don't really understand and they have a lot of troubles because of that", and writer Horowitz added, "I think Emma's magic will play a key role in this season. The goal of this season is her coming to terms with her powers and what she can and cannot do".
The two writers shared a bit more about the upcoming season, "With our flashbacks this season, we're excited to explore the times before. We're going to get more into Emma growing up as a teenager, Charming before he met Snow White, when he was on the farm and many more".
