Game of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers: New Leaked Photos, Plot, and Cast Updates
HBO's hit fantasy drama series Game of Thrones is renewed for a fifth and sixth season, and the upcoming new season is scheduled for a release date in 2015. Naturally, the seasons will follow the fourth and fifth novels of George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" series. Unlike the previous seasons, the author won't be writing episodes for the next season. Meanwhile, season 5's directors include Michael Slovis, Mark Mylod, Jeremy Podeswa, Miguel Sapochnik, and David Nutter.
New leaked images of the upcoming season 5 reveal some of the members of the Faith. The members are at a market place with their weapons, and you can see the weapons look like a type of crude cudgel. You can also see their foreheads marked with the seven pointed stars, representing the seven gods. These guys might just be the "Poor Fellows". They are extremely religious militants. Expect them to pose a great threat to your favorite characters.
The Faith of Seven Militants are said to play a major role in the upcoming season 5, as fans will see the resurgence of these members and the declining power of the Iron Throne. Kevan Lannister will temporarily take the position of regent to stop the chaos from drowning the kingdom.
As for the cast, many new actors will be introduced in the fifth season. The new cast includes Alexander Siddig, Toby Sebastian, Nell Tiger Free, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jessica Henwick, Rosabell, Laurenti Sellers, DeObia Oparei, Jonathan Pryce, Enzo Cilenti and Michael Condron.
For now, expect some filming to take place in Spain this October. New fifth season of Game of Thrones premieres spring of 2015.
