The Biggest Loser: Jillian Michaels Will No Longer Be A Part Of It

Jillian Michaels, the trainer for the show "The Biggest Loser" will no longer be a part of it on the upcoming seasons. Some said she quit but reports are now claiming that she was let go by the producers.

According to the new reports, she wanted to see some changes on the show and suggested these to the producers. However, they did not like and her ideas put her job on the line. She was let go as a result. She herself said that she was willing to stay if some changes were implemented but the producers were adamant on their decision that the show remains the same.

It has been a long running issue for both the producers and her with regards to how things should be done in the show but that didn't make her leave before. However, this time, she didn't the producers not considering her suggestions on the show and the bosses didn't like it that she's acting difficult so they just agreed to part ways. The decision to let her go was not out of spite. Jillian herself said that if it really wasn't possible that the things she like for the show can be considered, then they better just release her. In the end, that is what exactly happened.

Another reason for her departure of the show is that she felt ashamed and horrified on the how Rachel Frederickson (last season's winner) dropped her weight to just 155 lbs. when she was extremely obese when she first joined in. While the show lauds Rachel for achieving significant weight loss, Jillian is said to be worried that the show is teaching viewers unhealthy outlook.

Of course, the new reports would counter these reasons as mere excuses so that she could hide the fact that she was fired. This is not the first time she left the show because back in 2006 and 2011, she had some arguments with the people inside running the reality TV series that didn't turn out good for her stay. But despite of all those indifferences, she was still asked to come back. This time, it seems unlikely that she would be asked to return.

Not doing the show does not mean Jillian would stop being a fitness guru. She said she will still continue to help people live their lives with a healthy and fit body but this time, she is going to do it off camera.
