Shooting of Orange is the new Black Season 3 is now underway! This is simply good news to fans. Inspite of this, Orange is the new Black Season 3 premiere date has yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Big Boo, Lea DeLaria, has obtained immense popularity because of her character in the show. According to IBT, while she was walking down the street, a fan approached her with a screwdriver for an autograph.
"I'm really grateful for this role," she explained in a recent interview with Radio TV Talk . "This is awesome. I'm having a ball!"
Her character in the show, Big Boo, has been seen to be sexually active and has added comic relief to the series. Before her breakthrough with OITNB, she was a stand up comedian and is a known figure in the LGBT community.
"They wrote the part specifically for me," she mentioned. "I knew it would be funny but I appreciate how they allow me to grow as an actor. I did some crying season one."
On the other hand, Lori Petty, who plays Lolly, whom Piper meets on a Transport lane, will reprise her role this upcoming season.
Also, Laura Prepon will play a bigger role this new season. She was a former castmate of the That 70's show along with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. In Orange is the new Black Season 3, she will reprise her role as Alex Vause.
"I was so bummed out. But I handled it, so I'm in every [episode] in season three. It is so good. All the girls are so close, I feel like I never left. Or like I was there all of season 2. We all wanted me to be there for more of season 2." She said in an interview with US weekly.
The show was critically acclaimed and been nominated for 12 Emmy's.
