There is a clip of the upcoming Hunger Games movie which was released on 15th last month depicting her and her allies engaged in a fierce battle against Panem president Snow played by the very capable Donald Sutherland. Katniss is going to face down an army with Gale Hawthorne played by Liam Hemsworth at her side. The trailer shows them blowing up some of the fighter jets with nothing more than bows and arrows and a bit of skill. This will depict an interesting side of Katniss that we have never seen before and that is the side of a leader of the resistance.

She has always depicted the symbol of rebelliousness against president Snow and what the capital stood for with their snobbishness. However, she has never been one to lead the charge preferring to take the solo act, so this should be very interesting to see. The previews of the movie also show Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, Plutarch Heavensbee. Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks will reprise their roles in the third installment of the movie. This installment is also going to feature Julianne Moore as Alma Coin; president of District 13.
