Insurgent updates: Fresh from the success of Divergent, which has earned $270 million in the worldwide box office to date, comes Insurgent, slated for release in March 2015.
Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James reprise their roles as Beatrice "Tris" Prior and Tobias "Four" Eaton, respectively in the upcoming Sci-Fi action film.
Joining them are Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Ashley Judd, Suki Waterhouse, Rosa Salazar, Daniel Dae Kim, Jonny Weston, Emjay Anthony, and Keiynan Lonsdale.
Directed by Robert Schwentke, Insurgent the movie is based on the second book of the best-selling Divergent trilogy written by Veronica Roth.
The plot picks up where the last movie left off: Tris tries to discover the motive behind the Erudite's insurrection as well as what the Abnegation have kept as a secret for so long.
Tris and Four battle against time as they find out what the Abnegation sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite will stop at nothing to make sure that they don't succeed.
Tormented by her previous decisions but determined to save the people she loves, Tris will face one hurdle after another as she unlocks the mysteries of the past, which will determine the future of her world.
