It is through the eyes of a SWAT officer who is involved in a criminal, Nick Mendoza, that we are introduced to this world. As a new feature, the gamers can now pick ways of completing their missions. This they can either do silently or violently depending on the players' preference. Also the path followed by the players doesn't matter as all them eventually lead to the same result that is completing the game's missions.
