Lifetime actress Natasha Wilson has filed a lawsuit alleging a dog attack at a West Hollywood dog park left her with permanent facial scarring and cost her acting work. The allegations have not been tested in court.
According to the suit, as reported by the New York Post, the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2024. Wilson says she picked up her French bulldog after another dog approached, and that the dog then jumped on her. She alleges she was on the ground shielding her pet with her body and hands when the dog bit her face above the right eyebrow.
The suit says she received stitches and antibiotics at Cedars-Sinai and has been told she will need scar revision surgery.
Wilson is seeking economic damages, including medical expenses, lost wages and lost earning capacity, according to reports. She claims the scarring has kept her from booking roles.
Wilson is known for several Lifetime movies, including Single and Ready to Jingle, and for her role in the series UnREAL.
Wilson's story has drawn sympathy from many viewers, and we wish her healing and a full recovery.
