Proverb Newsome Debuts "Stand Tall (feat. B.I.C.)" Video and Single
Proverb Newsome has just release his first single "Stand Tall," a track from his forthcoming The Gaze EP. The single features production by Juice 20/20.
Ever since the early 90s, Proverb Newsome has been blessing fans with his wizened tunes. He first hit the national scene with his group 1Way in 1995 with the project Destination Unknown. Proverb's solo project debut was "A Common Man's Opus." This collection of songs that spoke directly from the heart of the artist. What he believes, why he believes it.
Now Proverb is getting set to release his sophomore solo effort "The Gaze" EP. This project features a more mature experienced emcee as well as more features than the last project.
The message of the song is crystal clear: "we gone stand, we gone stand man no matter what. The right hand of the Lamb got us holdin up. We stand tall on His word cause His words enough." Jon James and Godsonn are B.I.C. and they too are from Bomb Beach.
