Pearl Jam 2014 U.S. Tour Dates Announced for Fall, See City LIst
Rock band Pearl Jam is currently out on the road again overseas and they recently officially released their Fall leg of U.S. tour dates that will hit 10 cities kicking off October 1st in Cincinnati and running through October 22nd in Denver. The tour lines up with the band's headlining appearance at Austin City Limits in October as well. You can check out the full schedule below.
Pearl Jam tickets for the newly added U.S. dates are currently available everywhere. The band heads out for a European leg this summer (also shown below), including appearances at Poland's Open'er Festival and Belgium's Rock Werchter Festival in support of their new album, Lightning Bolt.
Pearl Jam formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. They broke into the mainstream with their debut album, Ten, in 1991. They were a part of the popular 'grunge' scene in the early 1990's with bands like themselves, Nirvana and Soundgarden leading the way of this new sound into the mainstream and the new generation went crazy for it. To date, the band has sold more than 31.5 million records in the U.S, and an estimated 60 million worldwide. Pearl Jam has outlasted and outsold many of its contemporaries from the alternative rock breakthrough of the early 1990s, and is considered one of the most influential bands of the decade. Since Ten (1991), they have released Vs. (1993), Vitalogy (1994), No Code (1996), Yield (1998), Binaural (2000), Riot Act (2002), Pearl Jam (2006), Backspacer (2009) and their latest release Lightning Bolt (2013).
