Here Are the Lyrics and Video of Martin Smith's "Trouble (Featuring Kingdom Choir)"
UK-based singer, musician, songwriter and Delirious? frontman Martin Smith returns with a brand new single "Trouble" featuring Kingdom Choir. Written by Smith,
Victory, Jason Ingram & Smith's daughter Elle Limebear, "Trouble" speaks about how God is our refuge in our most difficult times.
Smith announces, "It's an honour to collaborate with the mighty 'The Kingdom Choir'. Through the pandemic we have all encountered our own 'trouble'. This is a song to lift our heads and help us keep singing our way out of it."
One reviewer writes, "The song has that distinct church choir vibe, with a harmonious set of vocals serving as the true instruments of the song. It has a solid drum beat, and lyrics that inspire the best in anyone. It addresses loss and pain, and reminds the listener that salvation is true and aspirational. The choir and the lead singer sing that despite the trouble they've found themselves in, their saving is inevitable as long as they have faith."
Here are the lyrics:
[Intro]
I'm gonna sing my way out of trouble
[Verse 1]
When there's nothing left
No hope within
And you can't get back
To where you've been
Just a little love is a guiding light
When you lose your way
Yeah
[Chorus]
I'm gonna sing my way out of trouble
I'm gonna sing till I am free
My God will find me here in the rubble
O Rock of Ages, You will save me once again
[Verse 2]
When our dreams are gone
And they fly away
They return again
With the light of day
And I know [that hurts
Always find your song?]
And so can we (So can we)
Hey
[Chorus]
We're gonna sing our way out of trouble
We're gonna sing till we are free
Our God will find us here in the rubble
O Rock of Ages, You will save us once again
[Bridge]
Alleluia, alleluia
We stand in awe at the power of Your name (Alleluia)
Alleluia (Alleluia), alleluia
Salvation is our song
Salvation won't be long
So, so
[Chorus]
We're gonna sing our way out of trouble
We're gonna sing till we are free (Hey, till we are free)
Our God will find us here in the rubble
O Rock of Ages, You will save us once again
(Oh, we're gonna sing, sing, sing) We're gonna sing our way out of trouble (Oh, yeah, yeah)
We're gonna sing till we are free (Till we are free, are free)
Our God will find us here in the rubble
O Rock of Ages, You will save us once again (Ooh)
Rock of Ages, You will save us once again
