Danielle Stephens Releases Sophomore Single "Thy Will Be Done"

With her 2022 debut single "Favor," which won her an Avidity Award for New Artist of The Year, singer and songwriter Danielle Stephens stepped into Gospel music adorning a sweet spirit and a fresh and endearing voice.  The Louisiana native continues to showcase her full range of artistry and passion for music with her sophomore single, "Thy Will Be Done."

"Thy Will Be Done" is an urban inspirational musical experience that energizes and uplifts. The song invites listeners to join in the simple yet profound prayer from Matthew 6:10 - Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

"Often in life, we believe we hold all the answers," Danielle passionately declares.  "Yet, we find ourselves caught in endless circles, only to discover that following God's path would have advanced us much further."

Danielle continues, "Thy Will Be Done is a prayer with urban flare and my way of encouraging people to pray unintentionally and continually."

The single is produced by Sean Keys, who is a Stellar Award-winning, BMI Trailblazer of Gospel Award recipient, and Avidity Award-winning producer.  Sean, Danielle, and Adolphus Scott, III, wrote the song.   

"Working with Danielle on her new single was a phenomenal experience," says Sean.  "She called me to sing the hook - it was super catchy!  I was inspired to compose the music and did it in less than an hour! Bringing in Adolphus to help with the verses and bridge was the icing on the cake. We're confident this record will be Danielle's big break and a summer anthem for years to come!"
