Jazz Trumpeter William Fluker Releases "Agnus Dei (Lamb Of God)" Single For The Holiday Season

The trumpet has long carried profound significance in worship as a sound of calling, announcement, and celebration. Educator, producer, and recording artist William Fluker continues that tradition, using his horn as a clarion call to honor and celebrate the presence of the Lord. Following the success of his debut solo single "Clarion Call," Fluker returns with a new offering for the Christmas season: "Agnus Dei (Lamb Of God)."

Agnus Dei is Latin for "Lamb of God," a title rooted in John 1:29, where John the Baptist proclaims, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" While the holidays are filled with familiar tunes that fill malls, radio waves, and gatherings, Fluker invites listeners to pause and meditate on the true meaning of the season through his reflective instrumental interpretation of "Agnus Dei (Lamb Of God)."

"These are trying times that we are living in, and this song is a sweet reminder that God is with us," Fluker shares. "Agnus Dei is a declaration of truth-that the Lord is holy and worthy of all praise. It supports the prophecy of the coming of the Son of Man."

"Agnus Dei (Lamb Of God)" is available now on all digital music platforms, released via Nspyre Music Group, the independent label owned by Fluker and his wife, Lisa Bellamy (Fluker).

For more than 20 years, Fluker has taught music at Davis Academy for Arts and Design Innovations, where he is affectionately known as "The Kid's Music Man." He specializes in classical and jazz repertoire, performance, and coaching musical ensembles. Throughout his career, he has performed with legendary greats including Ray Charles, Ali Woodson of The Temptations, James Ingram, the late Brazilian jazz trumpeter Claudio Roditi, and the late American Latin jazz flautist Dave Valentin. In 2023, he was named Gospel Jazz Artist of the Year by the Gospel Choice Music Awards.

As the pace of the holiday rush intensifies, Fluker encourages listeners not to lose sight of the heart of Christmas. The birth of Christ marks the beginning of God's redemptive plan-bringing hope, peace, and salvation to the world.
