After years of personal struggle, spiritual renewal, and a quiet rebuilding season, Honey Ribar is stepping into a new chapter with the release of her worship EP, No God Beside You.
The project officially drops at 11:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, leading into its full release on Friday, February 27. While Ribar has reintroduced herself to listeners through recent Christian singles, this marks her first cohesive worship-focused body of work in a decade - and a defining milestone in her faith journey.
Before embracing Christian music, Ribar built a career in pop and theater, performing at renowned venues such as Madison Square Garden and Hotel Cafe. But behind the spotlight, she faced battles with addiction, eating disorders, and the heavy pressure of performance-driven identity. In 2020, she reached what she has described as a breaking point - one that led her to sobriety and a complete surrender of her life to Christ.
Rather than chasing industry validation, Ribar chose worship.
Co-written and produced alongside Josh Zegan (yesh), No God Beside You reflects what she calls a "sonic pilgrimage" - a journey rooted in recovery, grace, and rediscovered identity. The opening track, "No One," celebrates the singular place God now holds in her life. The title track serves as a heartfelt prayer of surrender shaped by post-recovery reflection. "Child of God" boldly reclaims identity beyond past labels, while "Only What You Want" closes the EP with a vulnerable commitment to God's will above personal ambition.
More than just new music, this release represents a spiritual marker. It's the sound of someone who spent years building her own platform and is now choosing to build something entirely for God.
