Building 429 Celebrates 20 Years of Their Album "Rise"

Christian rock band Building 429 is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Rise, a project that marked an important chapter in the band's early career and helped solidify their presence in the contemporary Christian music scene.

Released in 2006 through Word Records, Rise served as the band's fourth studio album and their second full-length project on a major label. The album followed the breakout success of Building 429's smash hit "Glory Defined," which earned the group widespread recognition and helped them win the GMA Dove Award for Best New Artist after the success of their debut album Space in Between Us.

With Rise, the band continued to develop its signature blend of Christian rock energy and faith-centered lyrics, showcasing both musical growth and stronger songwriting from frontman Jason Roy.
