The first trailer for The Old Stories: Moses has debuted today, unveiling a sweeping first look at the new three-part biblical event series set within the expanding world of House of David.
Ben Kingsley leads the cast as Moses, bringing gravitas to one of history's most iconic figures, while O-T Fagbenle stars opposite him as Pharaoh. The project is created by Jon Erwin, who also serves as writer, director, and executive producer as part of the Wonder Project's growing slate of faith-based productions.
"Moses is one of the most iconic figures in history, and his story still resonates with us today," Erwin said. "We set out to tell The Old Stories: Moses with a cinematic awe and scale that feels both epic and personal."

Framed as a companion to House of David, the series shifts the narrative lens back to the foundational events that shaped Israel long before the rise of its greatest king. While House of David explores kingship and the formation of monarchy, The Old Stories: Moses centers on deliverance, identity, and divine calling through a dramatic retelling of the Exodus story.
The three-part event series traces Moses' journey from his upbringing in Pharaoh's household to his exile in the wilderness, culminating in his return as a prophetic leader confronting imperial power. The narrative is expected to depict the escalating conflict between Moses and Pharaoh, including the signs and wonders that lead to Israel's liberation, while also exploring the personal cost and spiritual weight of Moses' calling.
Early footage showcased in the trailer highlights expansive desert landscapes, intense royal court drama, and large-scale moments drawn from the biblical account, signaling a production that aims to balance spectacle with character-driven storytelling.
The Old Stories: Moses will premiere this spring in the United States via Wonder Project's subscription offering on Prime Video, with a wider global rollout on Prime Video expected to follow.
