Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Mark McMillan has released his latest single, "And It Rages," a powerful new collaboration with longtime friend and fellow worship artist Josh Baldwin.
Now available on all major streaming platforms, the song arrives just days before McMillan joins Matt Maher on the upcoming Troubadours Tour, a multi-city run kicking off April 15 in Philadelphia.
"And It Rages" blends McMillan's signature poetic lyricism with Baldwin's emotive vocal style, creating a raw and reflective worship experience that explores themes of perseverance, faith, and the enduring presence of God amid life's storms. The track continues McMillan's legacy of crafting deeply expressive songs that resonate both within and beyond traditional worship spaces.
The single was produced by Gabriel Wilson, with engineering by Aaron Knott, mixing by Chris Greely, and mastering by Drew Lavyne. The project features a lineup of accomplished musicians, including James Duke (guitars), Jeremy Lutito (bass), Alfred Sergel (drums), and Jesse Proctor (piano and percussion), alongside a rich backing vocal ensemble.
Fans will have the opportunity to hear the new song live as McMillan and Baldwin join Maher for the Troubadours Tour, which will travel across major U.S. cities throughout April and May.
