After more than two decades of ministry, JJ Weeks has officially announced the end of JJ Weeks Band and the beginning of a brand-new chapter called Weeks Revival.
The beloved Christian artist shared the emotional news in a heartfelt message to supporters, reflecting on the extraordinary 26-year journey that began in South Georgia and grew into a nationally recognized ministry through music, testimony, and worship.
"For the last 26 years, so many of you have supported me, prayed for me, sang with me, and stood beside me through so many seasons of ministry and music," Weeks wrote. "South Georgia was the birthing ground of JJ Weeks Band."
Known for powerful songs about faith, struggle, restoration, and perseverance, JJ Weeks built a loyal following through relentless touring and deeply personal music that resonated with listeners facing hardship, anxiety, addiction, and spiritual battles. Songs like "Let Them See You," "Do Not Be Afraid," and "Restored" helped establish the group as a respected voice within contemporary Christian music.
Now, Weeks says God is leading him into something new.
The newly formed Weeks Revival will officially debut on June 19 with its first concert at AnchorPointe Church - a location Weeks says carries special meaning because of its deep connection to the band's origins.
"Starting something new is exciting, but it's also scary," Weeks admitted. "You always wonder if people will come with you into a new season. We do know this is where God is leading and we can trust that."
The launch event is being positioned as more than simply a concert. It marks a spiritual and artistic reset for Weeks, whose ministry has long emphasized authenticity, healing, and revival.
"We believe God is doing something fresh," he shared. "What better way to launch it than with the people who have been there all along the way."
The inaugural Weeks Revival concert will take place at:
AnchorPointe Church
105 Liberty St.
Glennville, GA
For longtime fans of JJ Weeks Band, the evening represents both the closing of a major chapter in Christian music ministry and the hopeful beginning of a new season centered on worship, revival, and renewed purpose.
