American Idol Season 24 winner Hannah Harper is already back to work - and she wants fans to know exactly what that looks like.
On May 30, Harper posted a candid photo from inside a sawmill recording studio, where she was spending her lunch break with a styrofoam cup of queso from a local Mexican restaurant. No glam. No entourage. Just vocals, takeout, and a session she clearly wouldn't trade.
"Honestly, I've never felt more successful," she wrote.
Harper recently confirmed that new music is on the way, telling TV Insider she has "a good collection of stuff" ready for the world to hear - with recording and touring running simultaneously through the summer.
She has already released two singles - the viral fan favorite "String Cheese" and the new track "Married Into This Town" - but this studio session signals more is coming sooner than expected.
For Harper, the process is just as important as the platform. "Getting to make music with people I love, in a place that means so much to me, and having a hand in every detail of the process - that's the dream," she wrote.
Throughout her American Idol run, Harper was vocal about her faith and her goal to "encourage, to uplift and to turn eyes upon the Lord - no matter the song, no matter the genre." That hasn't changed with the title - just the studio.
New music is coming. Stay tuned.
