Rising Christian artist Allison Eide is continuing her rapid ascent with the release of her new single, "HIPS," a catchy and deeply personal anthem that is already generating conversation among listeners navigating questions of identity, faith, and self-worth.
Available now on streaming platforms, "HIPS" marks a major milestone in Eide's career as her debut release with Anotherland, the artist collective and label home to respected worship voices including Aodhán King, Matt Crocker, and Anna Golden.

Produced by Wade Wenrick and co-written by Eide alongside Franni Cash and Wenrick, the song pairs infectious melodies with vulnerable lyricism, exploring the tension between religious expectations and the freedom found in Christ. While playful and memorable on the surface, the track carries a deeper message about confronting shame and discovering true identity.
"I wrote this song as a letter to shame and discovering where my true worth comes from, which is in Christ alone," Eide shared. "My prayer is that while this song feels catchy and lyrically quirky, it would give people a voice to boldly come to Jesus as they are."
The song arrives at a time when conversations surrounding authenticity, religious performance, and personal identity continue to resonate strongly with younger generations. Rather than presenting simplistic solutions, Eide invites listeners into an honest and often difficult journey toward understanding their value through God's eyes rather than cultural expectations.
That transparency is one of the qualities that drew Anotherland to the Minneapolis native.
"From the beginning, we were drawn to Allison's authenticity," said Karrie Dawley, Head of Creative at Anotherland. "She has a unique ability to speak to both grief and faith in a way that resonates deeply with this generation. Her artistry is thoughtful and uncompromising, but what stands out most is her ability to make people feel seen, understood, and safe to be honest about where they are. We're thrilled to welcome Allison to Anotherland and excited for the impact her voice will continue to have."
The release caps off a season of remarkable momentum for Eide, whose musical journey has been shaped in part by the influence of her late father, an artist whose creative legacy continues to inspire her work. She first captured widespread attention with her 2023 debut single, "Love Who I Am," which reached more than 1.5 million people within weeks of its release and quickly established her as one of Christian music's most promising new voices.
Since then, Eide has released multiple projects, accumulated more than 60 million combined streams and views worldwide, and cultivated a devoted audience that has helped sell out venues across the country. Her blend of vulnerability, faith, and relatable storytelling has earned praise from media outlets including Relevant and Air1 while attracting support from notable figures such as professional surfer and author Bethany Hamilton.
Earlier this year, Eide opened for acclaimed Christian artist Seph Schlueter, further expanding her reach among faith-based audiences. She is also scheduled to join We Are Messengers on tour later this year, introducing her music to thousands of concertgoers across the United States.
With "HIPS," Eide continues to carve out a distinctive space in Christian music-one that embraces honesty, wrestles with difficult questions, and ultimately points listeners toward the grace of Christ. As her audience continues to grow, the singer-songwriter's latest release demonstrates why many believe she is poised to become one of the defining voices of a new generation of Christian artists.
