Alan Jackson has one final surprise before the curtain falls - and it's for his wife.
The country legend released "Still The One" today, a new song dedicated to his wife Denise, just two days before his farewell concert at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.
Jackson announced the release on his official Facebook page with a simple caption and a video of family photos spanning decades: "She's 'Still The One'"
The timing says everything. Jackson's final full-length concert, Last Call: One More for the Road - The Finale, takes place Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, bringing together more than 50,000 fans and an all-star lineup including George Strait, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, and many more to celebrate his career and legacy.
Jackson was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in 2011 - a degenerative nerve condition that impacts muscle function, movement, and balance - a health reality that played a significant role in his decision to retire from touring.
Through all of it, Denise has been by his side.
Their love story is the kind country songs are made of. The two were high school sweethearts from Georgia, and it was Denise who helped open the door that led to Alan's big break in Nashville.
Jackson has said he wanted to end his touring career in Nashville specifically: "We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that's in Nashville - Music City - where country music lives."
For a man who has built his entire career on faith, family, and truth-telling in song, releasing a love letter to his wife on the eve of his final show is exactly on brand. It's what genuine looks like.
"Still The One" is out now on all major streaming platforms.
