America's Got Talent paused its regular Season 21 auditions on June 30 for a one-night special marking the nation's 250th birthday - and one moment stood out for the faith community watching.

"AGT: July 4th Party in the USA" brought judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara together with host Terry Crews to revisit some of the show's most memorable acts across 21 seasons. Alongside military performers, magicians, and comedians, the special included a tribute to the Mzansi Youth Choir's Season 18 performance honoring the late Nightbirde - the singer whose battle with cancer and unshakable faith turned her audition into one of AGT's most emotional moments ever. The choir's rendition earned the show's first-ever audience-voted Golden Buzzer.

The special also revisited Detroit Youth Choir, Terry Crews' own Golden Buzzer pick from Season 14, and Sky Elements' patriotic drone performance, which impressed Cowell enough to earn a rare second Golden Buzzer in the same season.

Regular Season 21 auditions resume July 7, continuing through late July before the new Judges' Callbacks round determines the final Live Shows lineup, kicking off August 18. The season concludes with a winner crowned September 23.

For longtime fans, the special was a reminder that AGT's most lasting moments are rarely about the trick or the note hit - they're about the people, and the faith and perseverance behind them.
