Danny Gokey Drops New Song "He's So Worthy," Inspired by Revelation 5

Danny Gokey has released a new worship single, "He's So Worthy," inviting fans to reflect on Jesus's authority and victory.

The Grammy-nominated Christian artist announced the song's release on his social media, writing, "'He's So Worthy' OUT NOW! Listen & Worship! Share this with someone who needs this reminder."

Gokey paired the announcement with a passage from Revelation 5:5: "Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David's throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals." The verse - a declaration of Christ's authority and triumph - appears to serve as the song's spiritual foundation, with the accompanying music video showing Gokey singing outdoors near a large cross, surrounded by a small group in worship.

The single continues Gokey's long career as one of contemporary Christian music's most recognizable voices, dating back to his breakout run on "American Idol" in 2009. Since then, he's built a catalog of chart-topping worship and inspirational songs, including "Tell Your Heart to Beat Again" and "Rise," both of which topped Billboard's Christian charts.
