We have the latest news for you on the release date, specs and features of the Moto X+1. Good news for the Motorola devices fans is that the Moto X+1 smartphone is scheduled to be released on 4^th September. It is said that it will be released alongside Moto 360 smartphone and Moto G. Currently, Motorola is sending out invitations for its press event in the aforementioned date. The company is expected to unveil its latest products in the said event.

Based on the photo attached to the invitation, it is likely that Motorola will be releasing the new Moto X+1, G and the rumored smartwatch, Moto 360. After the announcement, it is rumored that the handset will hit the retail stores and carriers in the same month. According to Verizon Wireless, the carrier is expecting the delivery of the Motorola's new smartphone by 25^th September. There is a chance however, that other carriers will get the Moto X+1 earlier.

As per rumors, the Moto X+1 will feature a 5.2-inch display which has 1080*1920 pixel resolution. The next-gen Moto X will come with a 1080 pixel full HD display and slimmer bezel. The new Motorola flagship will be powered by a 2.3GHz snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 12 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone will also have MicroSD support and it will have a 2900mAh battery. However, it is worth noting that Motorola has not revealed the official features and specs of the new Moto X+1 handset.

On the other hand, no word has been given about the Moto 360 smartwatch.  It is the first smart watch to sport a round face design. It is claimed to be among the best designs among Android devices so far. It is set to compete with LG G watch and Samsung's Gear Live, which both have a rectangular design. According to Motorola's blog post, "Moto 360 sets itself apart with a design that reimagines time for the modern era, a round display, carefully chosen materials, and fine craftsmanship all while keeping you on track and up to date without taking you out of the moment."

A lot has been said about the new smartphone flagship from Motorola and it is a good thing that its release is coming soon. The fans will finally see the real specs of the smartphone and get to use it as well.
