A new video showing what appears to be a faint light inside Nancy Guthrie's Tucson, Arizona home has renewed online speculation, more than seven months after the 84-year-old mother of NBC "Today" co-anchor Savannah Guthrie vanished from the property.
The footage, posted by a content creator using the account marktheshark943, shows a dim yellow glow near a door or window at the Catalina Foothills residence. The creator described the clip as "breaking news" and separately claimed that a rock previously visible on the driveway had disappeared. Images purporting to show the rock have circulated online, but neither claim - the light or the missing rock - has been independently verified.
No law enforcement agency has linked the footage to Nancy Guthrie's case. The Pima County Sheriff's Department has not issued a statement addressing the video, and authorities have not named a suspect in the seven-month investigation, which remains active. The FBI continues to review forensic and digital evidence, including DNA testing that has so far not identified a match.
The Guthrie family has continued to lean on their faith throughout the search. Savannah, whose mother is a longtime member of a Tucson-area church, has repeatedly thanked supporters for their prayers on air and issued an emotional plea just days ago asking for "a proper goodbye" for her mother. That posture of faith amid uncertainty has remained constant since Nancy first went missing after failing to appear for a Sunday service.
