Four stops on Usher and Chris Brown's "The R&B Tour" have been canceled, with Ticketmaster listing the shows as "Event Canceled" on Friday, Oct. 9. The tour itself is not canceled, and most remaining dates are still scheduled.

The dates removed are:

  • Baltimore, M&T Bank Stadium, Oct. 17
  • Cincinnati, Paycor Stadium, Oct. 24
  • Columbia, S.C., Williams-Brice Stadium, Oct. 29
  • Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium, Oct. 31

In a statement, Lucas Oil Stadium said the event promoter canceled select dates "to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew" after a long run of sold-out stadium shows. The statement also apologized to affected fans.

Separately, The New York Times and the BBC reported that Chris Brown is due to be sentenced in London on Oct. 26 after pleading guilty to affray over a 2023 nightclub incident. No official connection between that case and the canceled dates has been stated.

Refunds: Ticketmaster says fans will be refunded to their original payment method within 14 to 21 days, with no action needed. If tickets were transferred, the refund goes to the person who first bought them.

What's still on: The tour is scheduled to continue at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Oct. 15, then Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta starting Nov. 5, followed by SoFi Stadium (Nov. 15-16) and Caesars Superdome in New Orleans (Nov. 20-21). It is unclear whether the canceled shows will be rescheduled.

Usher, who got his start singing in a church choir as a child, and Brown had not publicly addressed the cancellations in reports available Saturday morning (ET).
