The NFL has not announced who will perform at the Super Bowl 2027 halftime show.

Super Bowl LXI is set for Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and the league has not said when the headliner will be revealed.

The wait is unusual. In recent years, the NFL announced its halftime performers in September, including Bad Bunny for the 2026 show, Usher and Rihanna. As of mid-October, no official announcement has been made.

Several names are circulating, but all of them are speculation. They include Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. Cyrus set off new theories with a "Bowl rehearsals" post, though that may refer to her Hollywood Bowl dates. TMZ reported in September, citing sources, that Styles and Bieber were on Roc Nation's short list. It also said neither had been approached and that both were unlikely to accept. The NFL has not confirmed any of this. BTS has also been part of fan chatter after a tribute during an NFL game, according to NDTV Sports.

Bieber has spoken openly about his faith in Jesus. His album SWAG includes Marvin Winans' live version of "Forgiveness." Whether or not he takes the stage, the halftime show reaches one of the largest television audiences of the year.

Until the NFL speaks, everything beyond the date and location is rumor.
