The betting odds for who will headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show have shifted, and Miley Cyrus is no longer the clear favorite.

According to Kalshi's prediction market, Jay-Z has climbed to the top of the board with an implied probability in the 43-51% range, edging out Cyrus, whose odds have dropped from a high of 69% just weeks ago to around 41-43% now. Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, and BTS continue to trail behind both names.

Nothing is official - the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation have not named a headliner for Super Bowl LXI, set for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium. Prediction markets like Kalshi simply reflect where bettors are placing their confidence, not a confirmed booking, and those numbers have swung noticeably in recent weeks.

Jay-Z's rise comes as no surprise to some industry watchers, given his role as an executive producer on past Super Bowl halftime shows through Roc Nation's partnership with the NFL. Whether he'd take the stage as a performer himself, rather than behind the scenes, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Cyrus has addressed the rumors publicly, saying she'd only want the slot if she could turn it into a full career retrospective, "taking a journey through the discography and appreciating each song, each era for what it is."

With millions of families across the country tuning into the Super Bowl together each year, the halftime show remains one of the most closely watched moments in entertainment - and one that plenty of viewers hope stays approachable for the whole household, whoever ultimately takes the stage.
