The lead stars of the show Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (Penny), Jim Parsons (Sheldon) and Johnny Galecki (Leonard) have all settled for a million dollars per episode, which is thrice on what they are getting from the past season. The deal is set for three seasons, giving the hint that there will be more to come. With the bonuses and other production deals, production will be spending as much as $90 million to keep the three actors in place.

As to what we can expect from the show when it returns, the executive producer of the show Chuck Lorre has been kind enough to provide us with some spoilers. According to him, our beloved Penny will be venturing into another career. Hence, she will be giving up on acting (could be temporary) and try out being a pharmaceutical representative at Bernadette's company. With Penny bringing in more cash to her relationship with Leonard, we wonder what kind of outcome it will have, with all the scales tipped out of balance.

The eighth season of The Big Bang Theory will be back on-air at CBS on September 22, 2014. From now till then, keep on dropping by for more updates about the cast and latest news about the show.
