SHIELD Season 2 release date and episode guide: New season photos released in time for the September 23 premiere; Adrianne Palicki joins cast
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 news: To create more hype for the show's sophomore season, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 's production team has released new photos, and it looks like the team has a new office.
"How's this for an extreme makeover? Last May, S.H.I.E.L.D. was dismantled after being infiltrated by the terrorist organization Hydra. Now it's time for Director Coulson and his team to rebuild and save the day, with a little help from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the former director. Their new headquarters, buried safely underground, in a reconverted SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) bunker from WWII, will be 'authentically vintage'. Of course, Fury has tricked it out with a few updates and a handful of cool toys," said "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 executive producer Jeff Bell.
Meanwhile, actress Adrianne Palicki will be joining the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 cast as agent Bobbi Morse, also known as Mockingbird in the Marvel universe. Don't expect her to make an appearance on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2, episode 1; she will probably be in episode 5.
Palicki will be joined by Brian Patrick Wade, who has signed up to play Cusher Creel. Also known as The Absorbing Man, he has the ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches. Wade will be in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2, episode 1.
