Dracula Untold is an upcoming American Action Horror Film written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless and directed by Gary Shore. The 2014 movie is based on the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker and is set to be shown in the cinemas on October 10, 2014.
The movie was said to be released last August 6, 2014 in France and is set to launch on the above given date to other countries. The filming of the movie began last August 5, 2013 in Northern Ireland. Dracula Untold is all about Dracula, by man and his origin and how he does became Dracula.
Luke Evan, as seen in Fast and the Furious 6 and Immortals, portrayed the famous role of Dracula, Vlad III Tepes in a man's name along with great celebrities like Sarah Gadon as Mirena, Vlad's wife; Dominic Cooper as Mehmend II and Samantha Barks as Baba Yaga, a pretty and delicate woman turned into an evil with to name a few.
In line with the movie release, it has been moved way too many times to furnish the production. On April 25 of 2013, Universal Pictures, the distributor of the Dracula Untold announced that the movie will be released in theaters on August 8 of 2014. However, months later they confirmed that the movie release will be postponed to October 3 of the same year and was pushed through October 17. For the last time, the release date was changed to October 10, 2014, very timely to Halloween as it will occur three weeks later then.
