Welcome to Yesterday

Welcome to Yesterday Movie Release Date, Reveals, News, and Spoilers: Michael Bay and Bradley Fuller to Produce Early 2015 Movie

We have all come to associate Michael Bay with cinematic perfection. If we think of him like that think how much more the studios must love him for making them tones of cash in the box office.  It's no wonder Paramount jumped at the opportunity to be part of his new film Welcome to Yesterday, originally named Project Almanac coming February 28th 2015. Mr. Bay shall be on the crew in the capacity of producer but we still expect that unique Bay touch. The movie is a sci-fi adventure film which is a genre Michael Bay is not new to.

The movie which is presented in found footage revolves around the creation of a time machine. A group of (obviously genius) friends find the blueprints to a time machine and decide to build the machine themselves. They go back in time to write the wrongs and like all human beings the desire for self improvement overcomes the desire to be the good guys. They start to use the machine for personal gain; they soon find out that you can't change events in the timeline without affecting the timeline. Time travel has long been a favorite of the sci-fi community and each time it is presented, new questions are raised. From Back to the future to Groundhog Day and Harry Potter movies have explored the aspect of time travel over and over again. Begging the question what new aspect can this film bring?

The movie is directed by Dean Israelite who is fairly new to the directing game but considering the company he is in, he must be good. Joining Michael Bay in the Producer's chairs is Bradley Fuller who has produced iconic films like The Amityville Horror, The Hitcher, Nightmare on Elm Street and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and Andrew Form. The screenplay was written by Jason Harry Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. The cast includes Jonny Weston, Sofia Black D'Elia, Amy Landecker, Ginny Gardner, Michelle De Fraites and Sam Lerner. Paramount Pictures is distributing the film for Insurge Pictures, Platinum Dunes and MTV Films.
