Avengers 2 Latest News: Sequel has not been released yet and Avengers 3 is already generating a lot of buzz!
Could there be an Avengers 3 in the making? This exciting news is creating a lot of buzz and speculations in the internet. These rumors are fueled and is partly about Dave Batista, who played Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy.
"Marvel Studios are currently restructuring his contract that will likely see him get more money due to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy. This will also lock Batista in for a number of other Marvel movies," reported PW Mania, a wrestling blog.
"Batista is slated for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well as the 3rd Avengers movie, where he will have a significant role. That movie will be a few years down the road as the 2nd Avengers movie isn't scheduled to be released until May 2015. There are already rumors of a Guardians-Avengers crossover in Avengers 3, including the appearance of Thanos."
One of the latest rumors also say that the Civil War might take place in the Avengers 3.
Movie Pilot explains that the original Civil War had Iron Man fighting against the registration act for superpowered beings in Washington, D.C.
"When a primary school full of kids blow up in Stanford during a run in between reality TV Superheroes New Warriors and the supervillain Nitro, Iron Man changes his mind and decides to team up with Reed Richards, Henry Pym and the U.S. Government to hurry the act along, going far enough as to set an incredibly short time limit for all superpowered beings on US soil to register (and in the process become government employees) or be hunted down and chained up in a super prison in the Negative Zone," it said.
"Spider-Man unmasking at a press conference is a huge win for the pro registration side, gathering a lot of attention, and several heroes sign up because of it (meanwhile, the villain actually responsible for the Stamford Massacre runs free and ignored by everyone save Wolverine and Namor). Formerly imprisoned villains, some of whom are among the worst sociopaths Marvel could muster up (I'd like to remind everyone that not all sociopaths are bad. Some of them are Sherlock Holmes and Dr. House) are released under the Thunderbolt moniker to hunt down Captain America and his allies (mostly street level heroes and youngsters)."
Avengers 2, Age of Ultron is slated to hit theaters on May 1, 2015. Avengers 3 is expected to be released sometime in 2017 or 2018.
