The MacBook Air 2014 12-inch Retina is designed to provide users the power of a 13-inch model while maintaining the portability of the 11-inch version.

It is said that Apple's MacBook Air 2014 12-inch Retina can be bought in new colors including space gray and gold. It is the first time that MacBooks will be available in these shades other than Aluminum gray.

This time, Apple is going to show off a slimmer design of MacBook Air while sporting a Retina display. The MacBook Air is also reported to be thinner than the previous models, that it can measure 9 mm thin. The present MacBook measures 0.3-1.7 cm thick.

Furthermore, the said breakthrough combination of Intel's 14 nanometer Broadwell processor plus the Retina display will make this version a more powerful one. The Retina display will also make the laptop a top-of-the-line because of its unbeatable quality and performance.

In addition, the next-generation MacBook is also reported to have a fanless quiet design. The fanless feature makes the latest Air addition look ultra-thin and lighter as it does away with the bulging design that covers the fan. The much awaited MacBook Air 2014 12 Inch Retina is said to be out this fall in limited quantities before it will be launch widely in 2015.
