The Age of Adaline Movie Release Date, Reveals, Rumors, Reviews and Plot: Release date for Flick Slated for January 23rd Next Year
There are few genres that remain as timeless as romance, because no matter what point in time you are in somebody somewhere is falling in love with someone they shouldn't be falling in love with. 2015 has its fair share of romance movies and Lions Gate Entertainment have decided to throw their card in the game with Age of Adaline coming out on January 23rd. Due to its release date it will be the standard against which all romance movies of the year will be measured and I'm sure Lee Toland Krieger who is the director is out to make an impression.
The movie is about 29 year-old Adeline who after a near death experience stops ageing. Seeing this as a great opportunity she embarks on a number of adventures across the 20th Century. She keeps her agelessness a closely guarded secret until she meets a man who changes her life. The plot is beautiful and judging from the time frame it shall be an interesting watch for sci-fi and history buffs alike. The movie reads a little like a mash up of The Time Traveler's Wife and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with a touch of The Notebook.
The Age of Adaline brings back to the screen Harrison Ford. Katherine Heigl was pegged to play Adaline but Blake Lively has ended up with the role. Miss Lively whom we remember from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Accepted shall be joined by Michiel Huisman and Amanda Crew. Anthony Ingruber is set to play a young Harisson Ford William. Peter J Gray and Kathy Baker are also set to join the cast of the movie. Sidney Kimmel, Garu Lucchesi, Alix Madigan and Tom Rosenberg are the directors while J Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz are writing the screen play. Filming began on March 10th of 2014 in Vancouver, Canada.
