Now You See Me 2 Movie Release Date, Reveals, Rumors, Reviews and Plot: John M. Chu to Replace Louis Leterrier for Director
The movie Now You See Me must be one of the greatest movies about Magic ever made, right up there with the Prestige. The movie made an impressive 351 million dollars at the post office impressing the execs so much that in July of 2013 Lionsgate CEO announced that there would be sequel and in September 2014 the release date for Now You See Me 2 was announced to be June 10th of 2016. Everything and everybody is to stay intact but John M. Chu shall be replacing Louis Leterrier in the Director's seat. Chu has a CV that involves a lot of dance themed movies and shows o we know he is good with choreography but we do not know how well he will fare with this movie so dear to our hearts.
Being that the release date is still a little far off and the movie is such a gem Lionsgate are keeping mum as to what we should expect in the movie. However what we do know is that Franco, Caine, Harrelson, Fisher, Ruffalo and Eisenberg are reprising their roles. What we don't know is how theywill be coming back. Shall the four Horsemen now be stealing money from the rich and giving it to the poor through misdirection? Or will they be like Mickey's merry band of conmen in the BBC show Hustle? Considering how the first installment ended anything can happen. We can only imagine what a field day Ed Solomon, Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt must be having with the script.
Now You See Me is already on DVD and Blu-Ray so fans can watch it again and again in anticipation for the next installment. We can only hope that while he is trolling Instagram Franco will send post pictures of the set as well so we have something to preoccupy us as we wait for June 2016.
