Dying Light release date set on January 2015 on multiple platforms
Fans of zombie apocalyptic games can now rejoice as Techland is set to release its newest video game, Dying Light, on January 2015. Techland, the game developer of Dying Light, also announced that the game will be launched on multiple platforms which includes Windows, PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
The Dying Light gameplay will immerse the player in a first person view of a zombie apocalyptic world which is designed from the slums and cities of Northern America. Players can choose from among four customizable characters in the game and must survive by venturing out in an environment which is overrun by zombies caused by a vicious outbreak. Players of Dying Light PC and other platforms will need to scavenge the environment for supplies and materials to create make-shift weapons that they will use to defend themselves from the horde of zombies they will encounter.
Initially intended to be a sequel to Dead Island, game developers decided to completely launch Dying Light Video Game as a new game on its own since its features and gameplay are significantly different from Dead Island. In the Dying Light gameplay, players can fully implement the free running mechanics which will allow them to jump from one place to another. Free running will also allow players to climb roofs and travel by jumping from one roof to another in order to avoid running into a zombie horde.
According to Dying Light Wiki, the zombies in the game will be more aggressively keen as the daylight ends.
