All Hail King Julian Show Release Date, Reveals, Rumors, Plot and Updates: Sacha Baron Cohen Voices the Lemur King in Upcoming Release
If ever there was an unlikely favorite in a movie it would be King Julian. The lemur who along with his tribe accosted the foursome in Madagascar 4 to protect them from the fossa (That is an actual animal although they looked a lot like the hyenas in The Lion King) fought his way into the hearts of all the fans. Julian has been featured heavily in The Penguins of Madagascar series by Nickelodeon but fans all agree that it is time for him to have his own show where he isn't in a zoo, because we all know his character is too big to be held behind bars.
The series that is part of a deal signed by Netflix and DreamWorks is set in Madagascar before the movies. Fans are no doubt looking to find out how Julian ended up king. Other things we all want to find out how Maurice who is obviously his superior in all ways ended up in his service and what Mort's deal is; what is it with the feet? Of course we are looking to see him dance again and hear his interesting accent. Netflix are really going all out in the year 2014 and in what seems the years to come. They are spending the big dollars to get their viewership rates higher than ever. With the release of their first movie next year and a four movie contract with Adam Sandler and Happy Madison we expect to see some interesting changes coming up.
Sacha Baron Cohen voices the lemur king and it is still not clear whether he will be coming back to voice him or they have a substitute. Considering the amount of coinage that went into the deal and the fact that this is a DreamWorks production chances are really high that he will be voicing the King. A late 2014 release date has been announces although a specific date has not been announced but as soon as we get any news you will be the first to know.
