'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion' Latest News, Updates, Spoilers: To air soon on ABC channel

"In a galaxy NOT so far away..."

The notably acclaimed 'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion' will zip, zing and zap their way to ABC channel. After capturing 6.5 million viewers in Disney channel, the program is targeting ABC on October 26, 2014.

To make the ABC broadcast unprecedented, Dave Filoni, the show executive producer, reveals that Darth Vader will have a cameo role in the premiere episode. And, to make the role more memorable, Darth Vader will use the unforgettable' booming' voice of well-known actor James Earl-Jones.

The narrative of 'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion" shows the all-powerful Galactic Empire terrorizing the entire galaxy. Conquering and destroying planet after planet, the Galactic Empire sovereignty should end! Only the Ghost starship team can save the day! Villains have to watch out for Hera Syndulla (Vanessa Marshall) a first-rate; no-holds barred pilot; Ezra Bridger (Taylor Gray), a quick-witted juvenile; Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios (Steve Blum), the robust muscle guy of the group; Chopper the Driod; Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar), the combatant sparkplug and Jedi Kanan Jarrus (Freddie Prinze Jr.), the fearless gaucho! They will fight and they will win. Sometime or another!

Some other characters taking part of the action-filled rebellion are: Agent Kallus (David Oyelowo), the Inquisitor (John Isaacs), Lando Calrissian (Bill Dee Williams), Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) and Senator Bail Organa (Phil LaMarr).

'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion' is an out of this world creation of Carrie Beck, Simon Kinberg and Dave Filoni. Kinberg was also on the creative side of the movies 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'. Filoni is part of the team in 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'. The executive producers of 'Star Wars Rebels' are Kinberg, Filoni and Greg Weisman of the 'Gargoyles' movie; under Lucasfilm Animation production.

Meanwhile, because of their huge following, the program 'The Star Wars Rebels' which aired on Disney channel last October 3 will have a second season. The weekly series of the unbeatable crew of Ghost starship will be on Disney XD soon!
