"Adventure Time" is a very popular Cartoon Network series about a human boy, Finn and his magical dog, Jake going around a post-apocalyptic and whimsical candyland known as the Land of Ooo, fighting monsters and rescuing princesses. Jake and Finn are trying to save the Mini Queen who was captured by a Swamp Giant. After beating up the monster and saving Mini Queen, the found the sword of the greatest hero and warrior that ever lived, Billy.

After reminiscing Billy's great achievements, they tried removing the sword, which opened up Billy's cave.  At first, Billy's heroic spirit seemed to be stuck in the cave but as challenges occur and monsters are on the rise, the three worked together to fight more monsters and save people. Jake and Finn are also Billy's great heroes who helped to bring back his old spirit in fighting monsters and saving lives.

Finn has always dreamed of becoming a great hero one day. Finn might not look too tough when there is eveil around, he will never have any second thought of slaying it. Jake, Finn's best friend is a very wise dog with a big heart. He has the ability to grow and stretch. Each time evil is not running amok, Jake plays viola happily with his girlfriend, Lady Rainicorn.

"Adventure Time" has been gaining positive reviews from critics and fans. Many Cartoon Network fans also revealed in IMDB  the fun and entertainment brought by the series. With clever dialog, unusual mature themes and impressive voice acting, 'Adventure Time' has been adored by a lot of television viewers of all ages.

This American animated TV series was actually originally titled "Adventure Time" with Finn & Jake. Pendleton Ward created this series for Cartoon Network. This is also based on a short film produced for the animation incubator series of Frederator Studios, Random! Cartoons and for Nicktoons. When the short film became hya viral hit on the web, it was obtained by the Cartoon Network picked it up for a full-length cartoon series. This can also be found in Hero Complex.

"Adventure Time" is a humorous series with witty dialogues, some of which are directly aimed at many adult audiences. With its massive popularity, the "Adventure Time" Season 3 is now out on Blu-ray as well as on DVDs.
