Beginning this upcoming episode 1, which is entitled "Revelation," Game of Thrones and 24: Live Another Day alumni Michelle Fairley will also be seen as the town of Arcadia's resurrected matriarch Margaret Langston who has been dead for over three decades. ABC's Resurrection Season 2 episode 1 was directed by Christopher Misiano.
Previously, back during the San Diego Comic-Con, executive producer Aaron Zelman told Zap2it that there will be a time jump between the first season's finale and the upcoming season's premiere. Said he, "We won't open right at the end of Season 1. We come in about a week later. Things have happened in town that you'll get a surprising explanation for that will take things in a darker direction for Season 2." About Michelle Fairley's character, Zellman also revealed that "she's the mother-in-law from hell, literally."
