Mark Pogue Releases New Single "The Answer"
Mark Pogue, a Christian singer/songwriter, returns with a passion to make Jesus famous and bring people together in worship with his Powerful Pop Praise song, 'The Answer'. The new single is the first song in a series of worship singles from Mark.
"I wanted to get people involved in praising and worshiping God in a dynamic way", explains Mark. "I want to bridge the gap between heaven and earth and allow people to get lost in the glory of who God is and experience His life changing power."
Mark has performed with many stellar Christian artists such as Morgan Cryar, Rick Cua, Margaret Becker, Degarmo & Key (Gospel Music Hall of Fame), The Rambos, Neal Morse and others. Mark's debut album Mark Pogue & Fortress, Restoration (Word/Pakaderm,1991) had 5 top 10 hits in CCM markets and was produced by John & Dino Elefante of Kansas fame. Though he left the music industry to focus on his family, he never quit writing and stayed involved in church and family life playing for worship leaders such as Israel Houghton, Gary Oliver, David Baroni, and others.
In 2016 he released his second album: 'Through the Fire' which continued in the melodic rock style on his own label, Audio Deo Records.
Mark Pogue first picked up a guitar at the age of 11 and hasn't put it down since. Whether he's standing onstage before an audience of thousands or in a room before an unseen audience of one, Mark is passionate about expressing himself through music and honoring God through this gift.
Currently living outside of Nashville, TN, he continues to write, record, & play original songs both hard hitting & thought provoking.
